Worship with us
Being in the centre of a city brings its challenges and its opportunities. As a result, our mission and ministry are constantly changing. Although our worship is structured on the basis of traditional Methodist worship, each Sunday is different. We cherish our past, we exercise our faith in the realities of the present age.
Sharing our services with St Peter’s
From September 2023 until late April 2024 our church is sharing services with St Peter’s Church while they have their building renovated. Our pattern of services has therefore changed for this period. We are enjoying sharing worship and fellowship with St Peter’s. Do come and join us
Sunday services
We gather regularly for worship, with our main Sunday service taking place at 10.30am. The weekly pattern of services are as follows:
1st SUNDAY Morning Worship followed by Sunday Soup Lunch (NB no Soup Lunch in April)
2nd SUNDAY Morning Worship with Communion and Junior Church
3rd SUNDAY Morning Worship (followed by Midday Communion led by St Peter’s)
4th SUNDAY Morning Worship with Communion and Junior Church
5th SUNDAY Morning Worship
There is a children’s area in church with activities to keep little ones happy.
St Peter’s also offer a weekly Evening Service at Marlborough Road every Sunday at 6pm - do check their website for details

MRMC Covid Guidelines: Although there are now no statutory Coronavirus regulations, we do ask everyone to be mindful of the needs of others and take reasonable precautions. Covid-19 is still with us and a concern.
