Fellowship Groups

IBRA Fellowship Group We meet at 8pm on the third Wednesday of each month at members' homes in turn. We base our discussion and meditation on the International Bible Reading Association book of daily devotions, entitled 'Light for our Path'. This is arranged in a series of themes throughout the year, with commentaries by women and men - both lay and ordained - from all parts of the world and across the denominational spectrum. Marlborough Men
An opportunity for men to come together, normally on the first Monday of the month, for a time of conversation and refreshment. All are welcome.

Parents and Toddlers
We meet on Tuesday mornings during term time, between 9.45 and 11.00 am in the Church Hall. The group welcomes all carers with pre-school children. Refreshments are served, and the adults can chat while the children play. We do art and craftwork, and enjoy singing together.

Thursday Break
A short and informal lunchtime service in the church vestibule at 1.05pm

Tuesday Fellowship
We meet on occasional Tuesdays in each other's homes for fellowship and to share ideas and experiences. We usually have a Speaker and we learn about a variety of subjects and end with an Epilogue. We would be pleased to welcome some new members.

Missing Generation
We are an informal group, meeting once a month for activities including eating together, bowling, etc - and we are open to all 20 and 30 somethings. The group was formed in response to a recently published report from the London Districts Region of the Methodist Church which drew attention to the fact that the age group 25 - 40 years was largely missing from many congregations. Marlborough Road seems to be 'bucking the trend' with some 30 regulars who are '20s and 30s somethings'!
